Sliezsky Dom Mountain Hotel (1,670 m) – Saddle on Poľský Ridge (2,200 m) - Východná Vysoká (2,429 m)
From Sliezsky dom, the trail skirts by Velické Tarn (1,665.5 m), Velický vodopád on the left and climbs under the rock threshold Večný dážď to the terrace of the valley called Kvetnica. It continues gently rising around Dlhé Tarn (1,929 m) to the end of the Velická Valley, followed by a more technically demanding ascent to the Poľský Ridge saddle, which is secured with chains (duration 2 hrs.).
From the saddle, there is a trail through Svišt'ovská, Litvorová and Bielovodská Valleys to Lysá Polana, or it is possible to go from Svišt'ovská Valley through the secured Sedlo Prielom (2,288 m) to the Veľká Studená Valley. The ascent from the saddle on Poľský Ridge continues along the secured path to the top of Východná Vysoká (duration 45 min.). Return the same way.
