Access to Sliezsky Dom is from Tatranská Polianka. The Sliezsky Dom Mountain Hotel is the highest in Slovakia at an altitude of 1,670 m. It is located directly below Gerlach, the highest peak in Slovakia.
Guests can park in the Tatranská Polianka car park. The car park is unguarded. Parking is charged according to the current rate set by the car park manager.
In favourable conditions, we offer our guests the possibility to use parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. Sliezsky Dom Mountain Hotel is in the highest level of the TANAP protection zone. Therefore, the capacity of parking spaces in front of the hotel is limited, and the hotel reception must confirm parking in advance.
Bad weather is not a deterrent for rock hikers, but if you would like to do other activities in "inclement weather", we have a few options for you. There is, for example, a wellness area with a Finnish and steam sauna, a whirlpool bath and a relaxation room with a spectacular view. Our restaurant offers gastronomic specialities from top Slovak chefs. A variety of board games are also available at the reception.
