In 1871, the history of Sliezsky Dom began to be written. The hotel we see today was finally achieved in 2011 when the highest mountain hotel in Slovakia with comprehensive facilities was officially opened to the public after a complete reconstruction. During its existence, the Sliezsky Dom Mountain Hotel has gone through several forms. Among other distinguished guests, it was visited by Pope John Paul II.
